On the pledge:

We developed a National Action Plan (NAP) that focuses on the worst forms of child labour as defined in the ILO Convention 182, but needs to be reviewed to meet with the current day challenges in the fight against child labour.

On the implementation:

We will address the worst forms of child labour in Sierra Leone by organizing five regional consultative workshops to review the NAP and involve all stakeholders, including local communities and authorities, to ensure local ownership.

On the impact:

The NAP will serve as a road map towards the elimination of Child labour in our society and clearly guide all stakeholders towards which actions need to be taken to eliminatechild labour.
