The UK remains committed to eradicating modern slavery, human trafficking, and child labour internationally.
On the implementation:
We will use the full range of HMG levers to implement the UK pledge and support a step change towards the delivery of SDG 8.7.
On the impact:
Children are one of the most vulnerable groups exploited by perpetrators of forced labour and modern slavery and require specifically tailored solutions to protect them from harm. Through the ‘Call to Action to end Modern Slavery, Forced Labour and Human Trafficking,’ the UK government continues to push for the elimination of the worst forms of child labour, including working with businesses to eliminate child labour in global supply chains.
