On the pledge:
We will seek to accelerate action during 2021 by further integrating child rights into LafargeHolcim’s human rights approach and sustainable procurement systems.
On the implementation:
We will continue our proactive approach to human rights, strengthen ongoing due diligence on potential child labour risks, increase the training of colleagues on child labour through our internal communication and training channels, and join a collective action platform such as the ILO Child Labour Platform.
On the impact:
This Action Pledge will allow us to further our contribution to raising awareness, identifying and addressing risks related to child labour in our extended supply chain, ending child labour and strengthening child rights where we operate.
