On the pledge:
We will implement pilot activities on Child Labour Free Zones in Ghana, support implementation of the national child labour survey in Lao PDR, and hold awareness-raising events on child labour in Japan.
On the implementation:
We will start and continue the survey on the impact of COVID-19 on child labour in Ghana and in Lao PDR, and operate the Sustainable Cocoa Platform in Japan.
On the impact:
The information collected through the pilot project will help Ghana increase the number of Child Labor-free Zones; in Lao PDR, the survey results will be used to develop and review policies on the elimination of child labour; and in Japan, more people will become aware of child labour issues.
