On the pledge:

We sensitized students to child labour by connecting them to seniors that encountered different realities when they were young and provided information on child labour and the importance of institutions.

On the implementation:

9th grade students (9º B) from Escola B+S Prof. Dr. Francisco de Freitas Branco, Porto Santo, were invited to learn more about the subject by interviewing some seniors about what life was like a few decades ago. The students learned a little more about what child labor really is, through the study of probability (mathematics) and reflection on the importance of institutions (public and private) and consumers, who should be aware of this problem.

On the impact:

Students engaged in the theme of Child Labour with in-class activities. Students also promoted an exhibition in the school about the topic.
