On the pledge:
Launch of a civil registry registration campaign for children from single-parent homes in rural areas in Mauritania (consequence of slavery by descent).
On the implementation:
Two concrete activities are planned: 1) Awareness-raising campaign to deal with the lack of awareness; 2) Logistical and material support to access the civil registry.
On the impact:
Registration facilitates and encourages access to schooling and basic social services. It prevents child labour.
