On the pledge:
We will partner with GoodWeave to ensure all operations of companies and organizations within the Nepal Network are child labour free and invest in child protection (including rescue and rehabilitation) as well as education for children.
On the implementation:
We will collaborate with Goodweave who has a 25-year history of combatting child labor in the region. UNGC Nepal members and co-signatories of this pledge are: Formation Carpets, Lotus Holdings, Hoste Hainse, CTL Pharmaceuticals, Blue Cross Hospital, Vijayadeep Laboratories, Leaf Plus, Siris Youth Foundation, Panchakanya Group, Danfe Works Enterprises Nepal, Shreenagar Agro Farm, SABAH Nepal, Himalayan General Insurance, Asterisk International Service, ECCA (Environmental Camps for Conservation Awareness) Nepal, Silver Mountain School of Hotel Management, Laxmi Wood Craft Udhyog, Nepal Ekarat Engineering Company (NEEK), Rural Area Development Programme, RADP, Smart Paani, Yeti Airlines, Unlimited Technology, and Garud Securities.
On the impact:
This Action Pledge will allow us to raise awareness of the issue and implement the best practices to act against child labour.
