On the pledge:

We will set up a 2021 action plan to combat child labour and produce a documentary on the actions carried out and the challenges in fighting the worst forms of child labour in mining, agriculture and armed conflict. In addition, we will review the partnership agreement to combat child labour.

On the implementation:

We will mobilize national and international human and financial resources. We will expand and build the capacities of local committees to combat child labour.

On the impact:

We intend to create around seven local committees to combat child labour. We are relying on the support of the interministerial committee against child labour to raise awareness, advocate for and reintegrate children. We anticipate that around 500 children will be removed from the armed forces through the Demobilization / Disarmament / Reintegration budget.
