On the implementation:
We will advocate and raise awareness, implement the National Policy on Child Labour and its Action Plan as well as the survey, and collaborate with the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, the coordinating Ministry of the Nigeria Social Investment Programme (NSIP).
On the impact:
This Action Pledge will allow us to increase the awareness of the ills of child labour and the need for its elimination from society, give the needed legal framework and a coordinated roadmap to fighting child labour in Nigeria, and empower more than 600,000 rural and urban vulnerable households.
