On the pledge:
We seek to better understand the indicators that precede recruitment and the conditions that make some children more vulnerable to this abuse than others. By shaping the early warning to early action field, we look to provide timely alerts on situations where children may be at a heightened risk of recruitment to inform early and preventative action.
On the implementation:
We will host a panel focused on the early warning indicators that precede the recruitment and use of children in the context of child labour. The panel will seek to mobilize discussion around prevention efforts within the child protection and recruitment prevention fields.
On the impact:
We will create space for critical discussions on how early warning can be effectively translated into early and collaborative action to better protect children in conflict and fragile environments.
