On the pledge:
We will redouble our efforts to ensure, day by day, that no child is subjected to child labour or exploitation in Ghana, especially in the cocoa-growing areas of the country, and expand access to free, quality public education as the logical alternative to child labour to all children.
On the implementation:
We will strengthen the capability of the cocoa-growing community members to address child labour risks through community sensitization, training, skills and knowledge to cascade strong child labour prevention and remediation measures down to supply chain.
On the impact:
This Action Pledge will allow us to ensure that stakeholders in the cocoa supply chain will not support child labour and, consequentially, remove all substantial risk of child labour to their brands.
