On the pledge:
We will reach out to people to educate them about the issue of child labour, related to the issue of child soldiers, and encourage them to take action through seminars, publications, and social media.
On the implementation:
We will organize a seminar in conjunction with the World Day against Child Labour to promote the International Year for the Elimination of Child labour with Japanese citizens’ targets, publish a white paper on child soldiers, and actively participate in The Stop Child Labour Network activities.
On the impact:
This Action Pledge will allow us to help people (mainly citizens and business people) deepen their understanding of the child labour issue, inspire them to consider what they could do to achieve SDG 8.7, and take action.
