The government will organize regional consultations to identify hazardous labour for children and will thus raise the awareness of communities on the risks of child labour. The government will publish a
ministerial decree prohibiting hazardous labour for children in Mauritania and will ensure this law is circulated and criminal penalties are applied.
On the impact:
The enactment of the law against hazardous labour for children will allow the raising of awareness of communities and strengthen the application of criminal penalties.
