On the pledge:
We will conduct a risk assessment of federal procurement supply chains to ensure federal suppliers take steps to identify and address labour and human rights abuses, including child labour, in their supply chains.
On the implementation:
We will identify the scope of the work and the period of time for the risk analysis, determine the period of time of the analysis, issue a request for proposals to conduct a risk assessment, review the proposals of the suppliers and award the contract to a supplier, and provide progress reports until a first draft of the report is submitted.
On the impact:
We will develop an evidence-based approach to protect procurement supply chains from exposure to child labour and forced labour.
