On the pledge:
The ECOWAS Commission is in the process of developing a new Regional Action Plan for the elimination of Child Labour aligned to Alliance 8.7.
On the implementation:
We will organize integrated missions in Member States for advocacy purposes and Capacity Building of Multi-Stakeholders on the implementation of ECOWAS International Human Rights Law, Trafficking in Persons, Gender Based Violence and Child Rights Texts in the context of COVID-19.
On the impact:
The Integrated mission will contribute to improved human security in the region by building capacities of relevant stakeholders in Member States through increased awareness, coordination and commitment to holistic protection of all vulnerable persons especially in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
